Police are asking the public's help in their search for an 18-year-old suspect in the fatal shooting of a New London man in December.
Police said Jamir Johnson shot and killed Quvonte Gray at approximately 3:13 p.m.
Following further investigation, Johnson, who has no certain address, was identified as the person responsible for the murder of Mr. Quvonte Gray.
The New London Police Dept. secured an active arrest warrant with Johnson set to be charged with murder, possession of a pistol without a permit and unlawful discharge of a firearm. A court set bond of $1.5 million cash-surety has been set.
Members of the public should not approach Johnson if they see him, but instead call the New London Police Department at 860-447-5269.
